I’m starting to think they’re never actually going to make Little Fockers, the next film in the Meet The Parents series. They’ve been talking about it for ages and it seems every few weeks a new cast member is announced, but they never actually film the movie (although shooting is said to be imminent).
Maybe the plan is just to keep adding new actors until everyone in Hollywood is linked to the film, which does currently seem like it’s going to have more than its fair share of star power.
The latest addition to the cast, according to THR, is Laura Dern, who will play the headmistress of the elementary school that the Fockers’ kids attend. She’ll join Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Owen Wilson and the recently announced Jessica Alba in the film, while the involvement of Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand isn’t yet off the cards.
The THR report also suggests a new title for the movie might be on the cards. There have been suggestions that some aren’t comfortable that a film about kids is currently going under such a suggestive title. We hope it doesn’t chage though.
