Juno star Ellen page is turning screenwriter for TV, as she’s teaming up with fellow young actors Alia Shawkat and Sean Tillman (aka Har Mar Superstar) to write a comedy series for HBO. The trio will also act as executive producers.
THR reports that the series will be called Stitch ‘N’ Bitch, and follow two painfully cool hipster girls as they relocate from Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood to Los Angeles’ Silver Lake enclave in hopes of becoming artists – of any kind.
All three of the actors turned writer-producers worked together on the new Drew Barrymore directed movie, Whip It, and they may also star in their new series, although casting decisions are yet to be made.
Page is currently shooting Christopher Nolan’s new movie, Inception, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. The most sickening thing is that she’s still only 22. By the time she’s 30, she’ll probably be a director and president of a movie studio as well.
