They certainly seem to be leaving the casting a bit late on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The film is due to start filming in the next couple of days, but they’re still annoucing new actors for the film. The latest casting decision to emerge is that Jack Huston will be playing Royce King II in the movie.
As his name suggest, Jack comes from the famous Huston filmmaking dynasty, and is the nephew of Anjelica and Danny Huston, and grandson of John. He’s only been acting for a few years and his biggest role so far has been in the alien vs. vikings movie, Outlander (which is out on DVD in the UK at the end of the month), while later this year he’ll be appearing opposite Kevin Spacey in Shrink, as well as starring in the upcoming TV series, Eastwick (based on The Witches Of Eastwick).
For those not in the Twilight know, Royce King II was the fiancee of Rosalie Cullen before she became a vampire, and his actions were partly responsible for why Carlise had to turn her after she was raped, beaten and left for dead, with the now super-human Rosalie later feeling the need for a bit of revenge against Royce.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be out in cinemas next summer.
