With the passing of Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off director John Hughes, this trailer for a new documentary about the man came to our attention. Don’t You Forget About Me sees four friends going off to try and find the reclusive Hughes, who barely gave any interviews after 1991. Along the way they manage talk to everyone from Ally Sheedy and Andrew McCarthy to Kevin Smith and Jason Reitman about the making of Hughes’ classic teen flicks and the effect they had. Even this two-minute trailer really makes you think about what a massive influence Hughes had on film and an entire generation who grew up with his movies. He will be sadly missed. There’s no news when the full documentary might get released, but click below to see the trailer.
