While the movie is still very early in its development (and may therefore not happen), Fanboys director Kyle Newman has been bigging up what he want to be his next project. He’s working on a biopic of iconic French actress Brigitte Bardot, and he already knows who he wants in the lead role, Jaime King.
She worked with him on Fanboys and has also appeared as a buxom, sexy figure in movies like The Spirit and My Bloody Valentine 3D, as well as playing Goldie/Wendy in Sin City. Whether studios would go for the project without a big a-list name in the lead is another matter, but she would seem like good casting.
We’re assuming the movie is going to concentrate on Bardot’s early sexbomb adventures, before retiring at the age of 40 after getting fed up with the endless attention she got, rather than the old cat lady who gets taken to court for inciting racial hatred (her husband is a far-right polictician and the case was over comments she made in one of her books). We’re imagining they’ll probably just gloss over this later incarnation.
